M/S AMAZON PHARMACY COMPANY LTD was established by Tanzanians in the year 1988 to merchandise as a wholesaler, authorized distributor and retailer in human medicines, veterinary drugs, vaccines and hospital equipment. It is registered and incorporated under Company Ordinance Cap.212 in the United Republic of Tanzania here in East Africa. Its head office is situated in the commercial city of Dar es Salaam. For the past 15 years the company grows from small enterprise to medium company with diversified products.

Over the years, our company concentrated in importation of three main products: pharmaceuticals, veterinary drugs and vaccines. However, to carter for over growing needs of Corporate Customers on medical fields, Hospitals and Industries the company extend new products lines on chemicals, radiology, dental products and hospital & laboratory equipment.

We are registered on three regulatory boards to operate legally business activities. The company is only permitted by the Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA) to business activities as a fully registered pharmacy for importation, distribution and sales of human medicines, veterinary drugs and vaccines. The TFDA has vested power as the sole governmental agency with legal mandate of supervising and monitoring of all pharmaceutical as well as veterinary activities in the United Republic of Tanzania.

Our business strength relies on existence on strong business relationship with foreign manufacturers, we are local distributing company dedicated in provision of professional companies as well as chosen preferred potential distributor as well as manufacturer Representative. To cater for diversified needs of corporate customers and foreign companies, in recently years, our company extends new product lines on radiological supplies, dental products, medical and laboratory equipment as well as industrial, Laboratory and customer consumer chemicals. The mandate for inclusion of these new product lines is by virtue of registration of our company to another regulatory body names GOVERNMENT CHEMIST LABORATORY AGENCY (GCLA) and PRIVATE HEALTH LABORATORY BOARD (PHLB).
